Johnny Gerona (chef/owner) and his wife Janice have lived in the Telluride region for over 25 years. Their last culinary venture was the very popular Pacific Street Market in downtown Telluride. In May of 2013, Johnny opened his newest restaurant, The Village Table.
Meet the Business Owner: Johnny Gerona was born in Switzerland. With a Spanish father and an Italian mother, his cooking has been influenced greatly by his European background and travels. A graduate of the French Culinary Institute, he began his culinary career at a young age working in many fine dining restaurants including Arcadia restaurant in New York City. After he worked in Spain, France, and Italy before relocating to Telluride. He worked as the chef at La Marmotte and Allred's restaurants in Telluride, CO resulting in over 30 years of experience in the food industry.
